the story is awesome, the characters chemistry is on par. it even got some chuckles out of me.

Love this narration!

I love Gentry…..hello, Christian Black!! The Genry I needed! Gregory Salinas as Karson…WHAT?! Thank you, Sir! Roxelana Waters as Leana… perfection. The narrators make this book even better. Definitely one of my top listens of 2023.


Along For The Ride is a mixing bowl full of messed up. Mostly beyond the realm of morally grey. Yet here I am, lapping it up. MMC’s, brothers and hitmen. Both psychopaths who just love to unalive but the FMC manages to find her way into their insane little hearts. I shouldn’t want these men, but I do and I’m not even a little ashamed! 😗😗😗 If you are an avid Dark Romance reader, this book is a winner, especially with the amount of tropes! You may also find yourself giggling at the brotherly banter, especially about fetishes and needing to one up each other. As always, pay attention to the trigger warnings, this book has plenty.

Not what I expected

Lauren Biel books are daaark but I love them!
What I didn’t like in this one was the FMC had air for brain cells and annoying AF! Using the good brother while secretly loving the crazy under the guise of “can’t choose” can’t stand the MMF enter the favorite is obvious… this was MFM and she’s clearly sick, clearly had a favorite but…. Ugh! I was so frustrated and struggle to finish.

The female narrator’s voice made the FMC even more annoying and the male narrator for G was a bit too too breathy and not in a sexy way… I don’t know… I just did not enjoy it.

Nice addition to the series

Much like the other stories in the dark hitchhikers romances, this was a very well written dark romance. A good amount of spice pretty much every chapter, the story line was good with a solid ending. I’m personally not a huge fan of breeding kink, which was pretty heavy in this. Not that I don’t mind it, I felt like it was just called out specifically too much. The performance from all the narrators involved was very well done!

Not for me

I didn’t enjoy most of the book. A bit gross and the spice wasn’t as spicy as I thought it would be. Very weird book.

Holy F#ck🤭this 🎧book is so full of triggers you’ve been warned! The narration is HAF😮‍💨the two MMC are brothers that are extremely competitive unhinged killers that meet a young lady who is drug addicted and is in desperate need of a couple of devils to help her out of her own hellish situation and their own story begins! I loved everything about this fucked up unconventional love triangle except for…the unfinished ending???🤔 It was just a HFN 😑
Is it worth the credit? F#CK YES!♥️

Breathy MMC Narration

I never leave reviews however, I wish someone would have told me before I bought this. The male narrator does this weird audible exhale at the end of every sentence. I may be nitpicking but I found myself listening for the breaths rather than what he was saying.
