David Angus recounts the battle between David and Goliath, the Biblical story that is now synonymous with a titanic challenge, providing a template for many underdog narratives. The gargantuan Goliath is a warrior for the Philistines who challenges the Israelites to a duel for the right to rule over Canaan. No Israelite will fight Goliath, but young David volunteers. Armed with only a few stones, he defeats Goliath, giving victory to the Isralites. Kerry Shale builds palpable suspense in this ultimate battle between good and evil, and his superb performance creates both a terrifying villain and a righteous hero.
