Can we talk about Mary Anne?

In the story, they totally changed Mary Anne’s personality. She’s always been so sensitive and shy and sweet. But then they change it up so now she Turned into one of those characters that randomly does stupid and mean things, and then realizes their mistake at the end of the book but she was never supposed to be one of those characters. She always knew if she made a mistake, and would apologize right after but she didn’t make that kind of mistake.
