Great listen
I love that Michelle Sparks re narrated. She created such a great Sibby in the cat & mouse duet. Having her re-narrate this bright the connection to the character back. H.D. Carlton is great at edging us with a good story and knowing that Sibby’s duet is on the publishing docket made this story that much sweeter to re-listen to. The fiery narration is always great for these dark romances too.

I can see how why they say you should read this book first, it was hard to get through because I already knew about sibby but it was nice to hear more of her background and understand her better. she's a loony toon but entertaining and we love her, lol.

I didn't see it coming!
It was intense to say the very very least. Lot's of gore, torture, trauma and a huge twist! Well written, definitely an acquired taste. I'm still on the fence.

The plot.
I absolutely loved this book beginning to end. The characters, plot, and the twist/unexpected ending?? Oh my goodness. It was so good. It had me on the edge of my seat. The emotions throughout too? I never thought I could be so attached to a character. I hope there will be a sequel to tell more of Sibbi’s story. I especially loved seeing her POV of the event in Haunting Adeline.
And on top of that, the vocal actors were amazing and portrayed/voiced it so amazingly.

Interesting Story!
