    May 31 2024
We tend to think of doctors as leading pretty cushy, privileged lives—lots of money, social status, and respect. But a dark trend has been developing in recent years, and it’s only getting worse. Increasingly, doctors are experiencing violence at the hands of their patients. Sometimes it’s a verbal threat, a push or a shove. Sometimes it’s stalking. And sometimes, it’s murder. This is one of those stories, about a woman whose obsession with physical perfection led her to an unimaginable act.

  • Never Enough: The Crimes of Susan Grund
    May 24 2024
It’s not unusual or unhealthy to go a little wild when you’re young—to just go looking for a good time with little thought for the consequences. It’s just how human beings are made. But if you’re like that your whole life, relentlessly looking out for your own pleasures and barely aware of the damage you cause along the way, you’re likely to land yourself and everyone around you in a whole mess of trouble.

  • Bat Man: The Murder of Fred Oesterreich
    May 17 2024
There’s an old saying: A gilded cage is still a cage. Meaning, you can be in what looks like an enviable situation—all your needs met, plenty of pretty toys to entertain you—and still feel like you’re in prison. The human soul doesn’t take well to being kept in a box, no matter how nice the box may be. There’s a pull toward freedom, even if you have to risk everything to answer it. This is the story of one of the strangest murder cases in American history—a 1920s true Hollywood story about what can happen when a pretty pet gets restless and starts looking for a way to stretch its wings.

If you love true crime with well-placed banter, this podcast is for you!

I highly recommend anyone into true crime check out this show. I thoroughly enjoy listening while I work my art, and the narrators are hilarious! I love that the jokes are at the expense of the criminals.

a true crime, MUST listen!!

I love these women. They have a natural flow, that's easy to follow and listen to. The incidents/stories are thorough. Also I love their sense of snarky comments! Sorry Morbid, True Crime Campfire is my new #1.

Great!

We need more! Absolutely enjoy your dry humor and interactions. Like the trade off in stories as well.

Entertaining commentary

Katie & Whitney crack me up. This is not the first True crime production I've ever experienced but I enjoy the interactions and commentary. Obviously most of these crimes are tragic stories but these ladies present it in an enjoyable way.

I live in Salisbury MD like 40 mins from OC!

love to listen to your podcast. I remember when this happened! I couldn't believe this happened this close to my home. They were crazy! We were all shakin that this could happen in our small town. I've spent hours and days in OC it definitely changes the way you look at your area. But thanks for doing a story from our area. We had a police officer (Keith Heacook) in Delmar murdered , beaten to death after responding to a domestic situation. That would be a good one to do. I don't think anyone has done a story about it. Thanks for your Podcast I like it!

The Murder of Jessica Sacco

I dont think that the narrators fully researched this case. They spent a lot of time reciting ICP and dogging them and don't even realize they are actually very charitable people that contribute a lot to the community. Their lyrics are comedy and shouldn't be taken literally. I usually love this podcast, but knowing they would make fun of people that stand up for those who have no voice turns me away from listening to them.
