As a soldier myself the parallels are great
The writing style is fresh and fun. You are not coughed down with the mechanics, the world building feels natural and the pace of the narrator was spot on. If you are looking for a great audio book to dive into then this is your invitation for adventure.

This book was gritty in a good way
So the author did an excellent job in nailing the gritty details. It’s also not a hyper inflated isekai hero novel. The beginning is a bit rough but it gets pretty good once you get past that. Few errors in the sound recording but not that bad. I definitely recommend this book it’s good.

AMAZING
This book deserves to have thousands of positive reviews. I took a chance on it (there was only like 47 reviews) and boy I wasn’t disappointed! It has excellent pacing and it is very interesting/engaging. I was thoroughly impressed and I am really looking forward to future books in this series. The voice actor was very good as well. So glad I found this book.
