If you’re into spice and drama, this is it. I like how involved other characters were from the first book.

Julian & Sara

Who’d have guessed that Julian could be kind of a cinnamon roll?! He comes off as such a workaholic jerk. Sara is also a workaholic, but I loved her in book 1, and knew she was a really amazing person.
I did not predict the horribly painful experiences that both of these characters had in their pasts. While Julian’s stemmed from callousness, Sara’s stemmed from egregious bullying and later, underhanded coercion under the guise of friendship and mentorship.

Workplace romance. 1POV. HEA. Standalone.

This is a “sexy” one night stand, workplace romance. It’s a pretty easy listen but a bit too long. The male narrator was good. The female was... not so much.

The HEA was short and cute. This is a standalone novel but there is another book after this.

nice twist on an office romance. loved how they didn't drag out the story and had a nice arch near the end.

Until you really get to know someone, you don’t know all their many facets. Julian takes the time to get to know Sara. There’s a lot more to both of them that meets the eye.

Narrators do a good job.

Great way to include characters from the first book so we feel like we are still included in their story. Loved the growth they go through and the steam they share!

Very sexy and romantic

I enjoyed this story. It was easy to listen to and fall in love with the character’s love. It was a great story about a girl down on her luck who happened upon a billionaire. They had a steamy moment and through interruption, she bolted due to embarrassment. Finding each other once again, he had to tell her about a lie he told and needed her to play along. She did. He was impressed. Everything worked out till it didn’t. Then did. It was a good listen. The narrators did a great job. The women’s man voice is a little weird and robotic, but the man’s voice is worth listening to when he is actually speaking.
