I loved all of it, the characters were easy to love, the story was well developed and the narrator was excellent, as always.

Emily Henry’s beautiful words were brought to life so well by the narrator. I think this was my favorite of their pairings. Will definitely listen again!

Emily Henry’s best

I really did not know how I was going to like this book. I’m an E.H. hardcore stan and Happy Place was my personal favorite book of all time but HOOOOOOLY MOLY this book superseded my expectations by a long shot. All of the characters are SO well developed. And these are some of my favorite archetypal characters from an E.H. book. I love the lead, the love interest, the friend, the little sister, like legitimately every character was written immaculately. The pacing was perfect and I cared about every plot line. I do not blindly believe that no book is above scrutiny and I’m sure I’ll find my few things that I think could use improvement after I reread this (approximately 5 times at minimum) but this book is an absolute triumph. I would do anything to re read it for the first time again

The woman can do no wrong. I loved the weed smoking, best friend to all, chocolate lab that is Miles. I love the way Em Hen has her FMCs make mistakes and have to own up to them. The character development is *chef’s kiss*. I guess I have a new book boyfriend to add to the ever growing list.

Great narration!

Overall great story. Plot was predictable but there were some little twists. Would recommend to lovers of her other books.

My favorite Emily Henry yet

This story kept me intrigued the entire time. I found myself resonating a lot with the main character. Some of the lines written could have come from my therapist, it was just so real. The banter was great, the chemistry amazing, I found myself laughing out loud multiple times. Julia Whelan is phenomenal as always, and brought all the character to life.

Pure Perfection

Emily Henry does it again and the performance by Julia Whelan is flawless of course! Ugh I just loved this book because it was so raw and I could just feel what the characters were going through. Also the monologue at the end was *chefs kiss*. I already want to listen again!

My favorite book of 2024

I loved this book, everything about it was perfect! It pulls you in from the beginning, I couldn’t stop listening to it! It’s a must read!

I’ve got no complaints. I enjoyed everything about this book and I laughed right out loud a couple times. Great book!
