Terrific narrator

I really enjoyed the narrator a lot. The story was pretty good but I had a hard time with the main character who is suppose to b 28 acting like a teenage brat. I will probably listen to the next book in story and hope the female lead is more mature in the next story but will not continue if she isn’t.

Chicagoland Vamps 2

I am loving this series. I can not wait to see what mischief Ethan and Merit get into.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Chloe does wonderful job of tying the books together and keeping the reader interested. moves pretty fast also and just enough descriptions to form a mental image without causing the reader to skip to the next dialog.
Cynthia Holloway is an excellent narrator and the way she switches easily between characters is fantastic:)

Getting better

I like the second book a little bit better than the first. At times it was a bit repetitive with house rules another relationship issues. However, good storytelling with a nice pace and kept my interest.

much toooo cute

Much tooo cutsie for my taste. And lots of backstory bla bla bla at the beginning. I hadn't read the previous book(s) in the series but it's only necessary to tell me what I need to know when I need to know it.

Almost, but not quite…

The author tried, she really did, but there's just something missing in this book. The suspense, the drama, it's almost right, but it's just off enough to derail the entire book for me. Personally, I won't be reading anymore of these novels.

fun and entertaining book

the narrator did a great job.

I really like this series and want to continue on. author does a good job building up the key characters. each book builds on the last book. very fun to read.

A little better

This one was a little better then the last one. I liked that it had a little more action and drama. I don’t like what’s going on with Mallory and Merit’s relationship how they are growing apart. I also do wish Catcher would stay out of their relationship because it’s not about him. I am happy she finally told Ethan what was going on with her, so she can become in sync with her vampire. I also didn’t like how she was stringing Morgan along. I’m curious about Merit’s relationship with Gabriel, hopefully we will find that out in the next book.

confusing narration

Great little read but the narrator Cynthia Holloway does not distinguish between the character speaking aloud and the character thinking. I do not recommend her for future titles in this series.
