Meh…?

The story idea is great. Love it… the delivery was just meh. The parts that should have had you excited (such as the demonstrations) were just meh. The plot twists were ok but the female lead is just kinda dumb and super slow on the uptake. And just when it actually started getting interesting it ends on a cliffhanger.

Over all it was just an ok book. Nothing to be super excited over. (Definitely not the super amazing story tiktok has led me to believe.)

Apparently it’s being made into a movie by the producers of Twilight… 😬

I have been having a hard time finding a good book and this was amazing! I recommend listening to it

Listened Twice

I loved this. I was worried it was overhyped but was so glad to not be disappointed I’ve been following the author on social and she’s been such a breath of fresh air so happy and grateful that we love her characters. I’m proud to be obsessed and counting the minutes till book 2.

Can’t wait for book two!

Captivating, twisted vines of a story. I hope book two is just as entrancing to listen to.

This was an amazing read. Often left me at the edge of my seat waiting to learn of upcoming triumph, deceit and strategy.

Lots of twists and turns - loved it!

Highly recommend - it kept me interested through the whole story…and now I have to immediately start the next one!

Good story but voice acting for the Male characters was rough

I liked the story, plenty of twists and turns and the plot twists twisted even further than I guessed which was cool. Honestly it was really hard to get into story or connect with any of the male main characters because the voice acting for them was so strange. I’m my head when I heard the voice of the supposed love interest I was like oh no that can’t be him his voice is terrible. I would recommend a physical copy for this one.

This book shocked me I enjoyed every chapter I usually am good at predicting twists but this genuinely surprised me more then once I can’t wait to read the next one just a 10/10 one of my new all time favorites

Really enjoyed everything about it. the characters and details and the love triangle.... I wonder I'd she'll go back with homeboy or the king lol

Scattered

It had a good story idea but the execution was a little lacking. The plot felt very scattered like the author was trying to hide the real storyline for the big plot twist at the end. Even though the plot twist at the end was predictable with only a few surprises. The biggest issue I had was that the main character didn’t really move the plot at all. It felt as if the plot was guiding the main character. The one guiding the plot the entire book was the antagonist. All in all it was a decent book with an interesting but confusing world.
