Very entertaining with great characters

Th author is real with a talented of developing characters that you really care about. Enjoyed immensely.

Good story, bad narration

The story isn't anything "groundbreaking" but it's interesting and engaging throughout. My biggest problem was J.Marie's slow and drab performance. There's no inclination and the parts she tries to sound wistful or sensual terms into a dry slow tone that puts one to sleep. You won't be able to tell fight scenes from sensual ones from just descriptions of scenery.

I like the story and I think if I read the book myself I would have been addicted but the readers, nasal voice, over pronunciation and her monotone voice through what should have been exciting parts killed it for me

Good read

This book had a good story line. The characters were well developed. The narrator was amazing. Very enjoyable book. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

does it not bother anyone else that the speaker sounds like they're wearing a nose plug???

Underwhelming

I had high hopes for this book from the description and the fact that it was a werewolf book, but alas it feel short. I would have liked the action scenes to have been fleshed out more and the whiney brat who runs away all the time parts to have been put in the background rather than the forefront of the story. The underlying ideas had merit and I'm sure they are delved into deeper in the following books of the series but I have no desire to continue reading on.

Loved the book but not the person reading it

I loved the book but not the audible. Through the audible I was having a hard time understanding and following the book. When I read it myself I got more feel of the book. In the audible, where the excitement should be there was monotone.

Slow Read and Bad Edit

There are times where it sounds like the narrator has a bad cold or she is talking with the mic so close to her face her lips are on it, and all this can happen in a single sentence.

Thank goodness for the ability to speed up the play back because otherwise I would have forgotten the start of the sentence before reaching the end.

it sucked

The narrator sucked and I couldnt stand her voice. The story just wasn't good. I dont think it was worth the credit.

Great read

A good series, I couldn't wait to get to the next one. Before finishing the first, I bought all. The narrator was terrific. It really held my interest.
