This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Book is not as titled!
I was not familiar with Dorothy Parker’s work, and also had not read “The Sun Also Rises” by Hemingway.
About 60% of the way through (chapter 14) the reader introduces a chapter as part of the Hemingway work.
I checked on characters and plot and most of this audiobook isn’t at all what the listing says it is. There may be a couple of short stories and a poem at the beginning that are by Parker but the rest up to at least chapter 14 seems to be a long section of The Sun Also Rises by Hemingway.
Confusing, misleading, and very frustrating! I’m going to ask for a refund.
