Dallas, Texas. November 22, 1963. Shots ring out at Dealey Plaza. The president is struck in the head by a rifle bullet. Confusion reigns. Special Agent Paul Landis is in the follow-up car directly behind JFK’s and is at the president’s limo as soon as it stops at Parkland Memorial Hospital. He is inside Trauma Room #1, where the president is pronounced dead. November 22, 2013 marks the 50th anniversary of the tragedy that has haunted America ever since. For the first time, this concise and compelling book pierces the veil of secrecy to fully document the small, tightly-held conspiracy that killed President John F. Kennedy. It explains why he was murdered, and how it was done in a way that forced many records to remain secret for almost 50 years. The Hidden History of the JFK Assassination draws on exclusive interviews with more than two dozen associates of John and Robert Kennedy.

The case against Lyndon B. Johnson and his role in Kennedy's assassination has never been sounder. LBJ aims to prove that Vice President Johnson played an active role in the assassination of President Kennedy and that he began planning his takeover of the U.S. presidency even before being named the vice presidential nominee in 1960. Nelson's careful and meticulous research has led him to uncover secrets from one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in our country's history.

Story
Almost 50 years after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, his murder continues to haunt the American psyche and stands as a turning point in our nation’s history. The Warren Commission rushed out its report in 1964, but questions continue to linger: Was there a conspiracy? Was there a coup at the highest levels of government? On March 1, 1967, New Orleans district attorney Jim Garrison shocked the world by arresting local businessman Clay Shaw for conspiracy to murder the president.

For half a century, people have debated the Kennedy assassination. Some claim that the Warren Commission got it right - that Kennedy was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald, a lone-nut assassin. Others contend that Kennedy was killed as part of a conspiracy. It is not the purpose of this book to engage in that debate. The purpose of this book is simply to focus on what happened at Bethesda Naval Hospital on the evening of November 22, 1963.

For decades, government pundits have dismissed these "coincidental" deaths, even regarding them as "myths" as "urban legends." Like most people, Richard and David were initially unsure about what to make of these 'coincidences'. After all, events don't "consult the odds" prior to happening; they simply happen. Then someone comes along later and figures out what the odds of it happening were. Some of the deaths seemed purely coincidental; heart attacks, hunting accidents.

Over two grim nights in Los Angeles, the young followers of Charles Manson murdered seven people, including the actress Sharon Tate, then eight months pregnant. With no mercy and seemingly no motive, the Manson Family followed their leader's every order. Twenty years ago, when journalist Tom O'Neill was reporting a magazine piece about the murders, he worried there was nothing new to say. Then he unearthed shocking evidence of a cover-up behind the "official" story, including police carelessness, legal misconduct, and potential surveillance by intelligence agents.

Publisher's summary
On November 22, 1963, Dr. Charles Crenshaw, an accomplished surgeon, tried to save John F. Kennedy's life - and then days later, the life of the alleged assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald. His gripping, firsthand account contradicts the Warren Commission and years of public misperception, and illuminates a chapter in American history long cloaked in conspiracy. Writing with eye-opening immediacy, Dr. Crenshaw takes listeners into the emergency room to share the critical events at Parkland Hospital as he lived them. Now updated, his searing testimony punctures myths and shatters a cover-up of massive proportions.

Story
For decades, government pundits have dismissed these "coincidental" deaths, even regarding them as "myths" as "urban legends." Like most people, Richard and David were initially unsure about what to make of these 'coincidences'. After all, events don't "consult the odds" prior to happening; they simply happen. Then someone comes along later and figures out what the odds of it happening were. Some of the deaths seemed purely coincidental; heart attacks, hunting accidents.

Story
A classic of JFK assassination literature, Sylvia Meagher's work is a relentless indictment of the Warren Commission and its work. Originally published in 1967, Meagher's masterful dissection of the Warren Report, based on the Warren Commission's own evidence, has stood the test of time. In some cases, declassifications of government records have corroborated the author's suspicions and analyses, such as her amazing assertion that Oswald had never actually been charged with Kennedy's murder, despite sworn testimony to the contrary.

On August 8, 1993, a single bullet to the head killed Freddie Woodruff, the Central Intelligence Agency’s station chief in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia. Within hours, police had a suspect - a vodka-soaked village bumpkin named Anzor Sharmaidze. A tidy explanation quickly followed: It was a tragic accident. US diplomats hailed Georgia’s swift work. Yet the bullet that killed Woodruff was never found, and key witnesses have since retracted their testimony, saying they were beaten and forced to identify Sharmaidze. But if he didn’t do it, who did?

Story
Lyndon Baines Johnson was a man of great ambition and enormous greed, both of which, in 1963, would threaten to destroy him. In the end, President Johnson would use power from his personal connections in Texas and from the underworld and from the government to escape an untimely end in politics and to seize even greater power. President Johnson, the thirty-sixth president of the United States, was the driving force behind a conspiracy to murder President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. In The Man Who Killed Kennedy, you will find out how and why he did it. Political consultant, strategist, and Libertarian Roger Stone has gathered documents and used his firsthand knowledge to construct the ultimate tome to prove that LBJ was not only involved in JFK's assassination, but was in fact the mastermind. With 2013 being the fiftieth anniversary of JFK's assassination, this is the perfect time for The Man Who Killed Kennedy to be available to readers. The Missing JFK Assassination Film is not the typical JFK assassination book. This book does not attempt to answer the question of who killed John F. Kennedy; instead it addresses why we should question the actions of those involved and why the truth was withheld from the people. Though copies of Orville Nix's film exist, the original film is missing. Why? The FBI confiscated Orville's camera for several months, then returned it in pieces. Were these actions sinister, or were they just examples of governmental incompetence?

Story
One of the most feared Chicago mobsters, Sam Giancana, clawed his way to the top of the Mafia hierarchy by starting as a hit man for Al Capone. He was known as one of the best vehicle escape artists, a tenacious business man, and a ruthless killer. He partied with major stars such as Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe and did business with agents ranging from the CIA to the Vatican to the shah of Iran. When politician Joe Kennedy gave Giancana the chance to use mob muscle to get his son John elected, Giancana jumped at the task.

Too much inflammatory language
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Yes.
For me, the main issue raised by Dr. Crenshaw is the actual wounds to President Kennedy’s body. Dr. Crenshaw’s eyewitness account needs unqualified corroboration from the other doctors and nurses in the operating room at the time. Clear, concise, and unqualified corroboration will place the Bethesda autopsy results in doubt and require an investigation. Unfortunately, as Dr. Crenshaw pointed out, and there is a historical record of, the Federal, State, and Local law enforcement authorities allowed contamination of the crime scene, pollution of the physical evidence, and improper handling of the victim (President Kennedy). Because of these egregious mistakes we will probably never know the truth of what happened.I do think the Warren Commission was proving a theory they had already decided was fact.
Would you recommend JFK Has Been Shot to your friends? Why or why not?
I do recommend this book. The reader (or listener) just needs to ignore the inflammatory language and listen for the issue and testimony.
Which character – as performed by James C. Lewis – was your favorite?
Unimportant and irrelevant.
Was JFK Has Been Shot worth the listening time?
Yes. Fortunately, it was mostly brief and too the point.
Any additional comments?

Beautifully done
Nothing better than eye witness testimony from a credible witness/participant. This book educates and offends. Be prepared to learn what your history class didn't teach, and expect to be disgusted by this government's actions.

Kinda important.
Conspiracists would be a lot more successful in their quest to change minds if they simply shut up a second and handed this silently to some WC-defender dudebros and let it speak for itself. Might lighten the stigma of silliness you've brought on yourselves for so long. It's only occasionally well-deserved, but that old saw about one batnuts insane apple re the whole bunch... This is clear, concise, objective, and impactful. Not a lot of venturing out on any limbs here. It's a good look, overall. If you have to go proselytizing, go with this as your tract, it might help your case more than.... well, your case.

Excellent Book
This book is well written by the Medical Professionals , who were there at the bedside and know exactly where the entrance wounds were. The Warren Commission lied to us. I truly believe that physicians and others were threatened not to talk.

First Hand Knowledge
Dr Crenshaw was a critical source of first hand medical and emergency room testimony provided to the HSCA in 1978. Therefore one must consider his account as a viable assessment of the assassination events as they originated. Great listen. I highly recommend listening.

Doctors can be silenced...
Dr. Crenshaw reveals the pressure brought upon the Parkland physicians who attended JFK in Trauma Room 1 that fateful day, mostly by Baylor University administrators and foundation members.
In a nation where over 70% of research grants are funded by the DOD, it is not surprising that our "thought leaders" would rather pay their mortgages and keep their children in private schools than be intellectually honest.
President Eisenhower warned of this exact thing in his famous farewell address.
He was right, it worked!
