Von höchsten Tugend- und Moralvorstellungen beseelt wählt diese ihre Mieter sehr gewissenhaft aus und hofft dementsprechend auf ein friedliches Zusammenleben ohne etwaige Zwischenfälle irgendwelcher Art, was trotz bester Vorsätze natürlich nicht passiert, denn im unvermeidbaren Zusammentreffen unterschiedlicher Charaktere auf engstem Raum wird stets die menschliche Komödie entfesselt, welche die peinlichsten und absurdesten Situationen entstehen lässt, so dass jedem Pensionsbewohner sich früher oder später ein neues Schicksal offenbart – mit mehr oder minder verkraftbaren bis gravierenden Folgen.
