Story
It was 1970 in a defeated Rhode Island fishing town. Vietnam and Nixon dominated the national news. Both the near and distant future looked bleak. But they were five inseparable high school friends with something incredible in common: an unwavering resolve to look after each other no matter what hell life threw at them. And they were on a mission. The plan was simple: Go off the grid before they turned 18 to avoid the draft. They’d sell some grass, stack some cash, then head west and start a commune. What could possibly go wrong?

Story
Buckhead isn’t a place you live, it’s a place you survive. And that applies even to the wealthy housewives that have it all. Fancy cars, designer clothes, and daily salon appointments aren’t nearly enough to keep them fulfilled and happy. Because in this town, privilege and opulence go hand in hand with betrayal and revenge. Jenny, the owner of Glow, an exclusive membership-only beauty salon, knows that better than anyone, because she knows everything about these housewives—down to each individual strand of hair.

Small town Mystery, Suspense, Excitement, and Happy Endings!
I love the small town mysteries that fill the Harts Ridge Collection of Books! Kay Bratt can touch on every emotion in her writings and make you not want to stop listening! Only problem is waiting for the next book to be released! This book brought the excitement in the murder plot, the mystery in the unknown and suspense in waiting to find out how it all ends! Happy endings that have been long awaited also give you the butterflies you’ve been waiting for, until the phone rings…. Read Nobody Told Me today!!

Great character development
I love these books but Lucy’s choices through the book became very tedious. It would have been more appealing if she had used a little more common sense.
