Average detective story
I have heard better and worse. I still miss that psychological brilliance Hunter should be possessed with. It didn’t help him in any significant way during the investigation. It is just another methodical police procedural based story.

Not for me
Graphic and unnecessarily detailed torture. This was not a read for me, I found myself skipping forward in the book just to get to the story without the gory details.
