I’D HOPED FOR GOOD.... & GOT PURRRFECTION
At the end of a very entertaining and refreshing love story.. that’d been written by a supremely talented author and narrated by two skilled performers.. you really can’t do anything else but grin from ear to ear and give it a well-deserved 5 star rating and reflect with a pleasurable sigh.
Thankfully this age-gap dual POV slow-burn of a tender and sexy romance definitely deserved my pre-ordered ‘one click’ decision because Vi Keeland romances absolutely never ever let me down. And this heartwarming beautiful story, about how a divorced 37 yr old Valentina slowly learns to let go of the past, of her inhibitions and her pre-conceived ideas of what was ‘right’ for her moving forward in the dating world, made a compulsive binge-worthy listen. The slow awakening of Valentina’s sensual side was with the helpful interference of her bff and the unwavering patient encouragement, coaxing and guidance of the besotted 25 yr old business owner Ford Donovan who only saw possibilities and not differences. Her emotional awakening seemed realistic and was deliciously and drool-worthily described by VK as the handsome eye candy Entrepreneur won Valentina’s heart.. (along with mine).
Worth a credit? There was never any doubt that it’d be an outstanding YES.. it’s packed with flirty sexual tension and this lighthearted love story (.. along with it’s sweet sweet Epilogue) has all the toe-curling feels a romance lover would be hoping for.

Super Cute Rom-Com!
This was a really super cute romantic comedy. The story wasn't new, but it had a nice little flare to it. I do wish that it was a little spicier, but overall, it held my interest and it was good.

Great story, voices threw me off
The storyline of this book is great and I love that they had separate people for the 2 main characters. But I didn’t like that each character did the voice for the other when it was from their point of view, rather than each character voicing their own lines. To me, I feel like it throws off getting really involved in the story.

My favorite performers!
I liked this book but felt the characters were not fully developed - why would a 25 year old hunk instantly fall for a 37 year old mom?The story line was sweet but very predictable. I guess I would say it’s a gooey love story. Easy listening!
