Couldn't stop listening/reading

The honesty and openness that I felt from this book were amazing! So appropriately titled as Bits and Pieces. I feel so close to Karen, I know facts that I can identify with and many that were new to my thinking. The fact that I read it right before Mother's Day was perfect. Before my mother died ten years ago, I was able to thank her for raising me twice to love Jesus (once as a child and again after my coma at 16)
Thank you Whoopi. Your story brought me to tears and made me laugh sometimes too. God bless your day.

heartfelt and soulful

This book reminds us of why we so love Whoopi. Her honesty humor and warmth shine through. Loved every minute of this book. it also reminds us of the frailties that remain from our own upbringings Hope to meet Whoopi someday.

Fun to listen and love Whoopi. Beautiful story of family love. Highly recommend especially to people who have lost those dear to them.

Her wonderful story!!

There was absolutely nothing to dislike. Just like Whoppie and her family, this was a beautiful book. I laughed through most of it, I was in awe for some of it and cried for the rest of it!
It was an absolute pleasure!

Loved it!

I loved hearing Whoopi read her book. Really made it come to life. I came to know her Mother and Brother and their love for each other.Most of all I loved seeing this side of Whoopi only made me love her more!!!!!

Great book

Listening to Whoopie speak about her mother and brother was heart warming. It was nice to be able to relate to some of the things she spoke about. Loved listening.

How could you not....

How could you not enjoy this audible? WG is a straightforward, real down to earth woman. I enjoyed her honesty and realism in sharing her life & emotions. No one could have recorded this audible. but WG. I was surprised to know how close she was ti her mother & brother. Through the years of me hearing WG speak her mind, I have always learned something valuable to consider. I loved how the audible starts out with a disclaimer. Some memories may or may not be true, but it is what WG remembers situations ti have been. The last chapter is such a lesson that everyone can benefit from. If there are any dislikes in this audible, I am not sure what that would be. There is laughter, entertainment, sadness, and relatable experiences and feelings. The best part for me is hearing this book read by Whoopi. Priceless!

Life can be wonderful

enjoyed everything this book had to say. made me enjoy life so much more until appreciate my mother and the things that she told me. Whoopi hit it right.
