Couldn’t stop listening

The story was gripping to the very end. A believable storyline that’s like a bad nightmare.

Couldn’t put it down!

This book was very engaging. It kept me on the edge of my seat to the very end. I thoroughly enjoyed this and would highly recommend it to anyone who likes mysteries. I look forward to listening to more of Kelly Utt’s books. I love her writing style.

We all have secrets, or at least we think we do. This book will have you wondering if we’ve actually kept them secret and what you don’t know about the people around you. Chelsea Stephens draws you into this captivating story.

It's not what you think

I'm currently read-reading the second book of the series, but this was available on audible plus to listen to, so I did.
The two books are totally unrelated, which I appreciate, because it's nice to know that the one I'm reading does not depend on the one I was listening to AFTER I was invested in the second, but it was a good story. I'm not convinced that it really required an entire book, but it was a nice diversion. It really is nice when the characters you like come out on top :)

WOW THE SURPRISES

This story is full of twists and turns and it's not always easy to be sure who the good guys are. I couldn't turn it off, listened straight through! For those who like to be on the edge of your seat, this is the story!

unexpected ending!

the ending was a lot! not what I had imagined at all. completely unexpected. entertaining

I thought this was a decent read. I can't pinpoint what was missing to make this perfect but it was still pretty good. The narrator did a great job

Terrible!

Waste of time. Thank goodness I skipped ahead. One of the worst stories I’ve ever come across. So terribly predictable and unbelievable.

DO NOT WASTE

Narrator is the best part about this audio.This book is generic. Been there read/listen that.
I FWD the majority of this audio. I wouldn't recommend this book/audio to my worst enemy if I had any. extremely disappointed. Not physical thriller. Hope you don't waste a credit or money on this generic audio/ book.

Worst Main Female Character

There are so many things annoying about this audio book. First, the main female character is extremely weak. She is married (newly widow) with 3 kids, but actress like a little girl. Okay, she is a daddy's girl, but she's already 30 something for God's sake. Second, as other reviewers mentioned, she slept with a cop who is investigating her for her husband's alleged death just days after the funeral. Then the story lines are so lame and hard to listen to. The narrator is okay when she does the voices, but sounds so boring when she narrates the story. It especially sounds ridiculous and cringe when she did the romance part. I neither really oommend to listen nor to skip. Some people do like it. Although I did like the ending. It was a good, but very mild twist because by half way through, you would have figured out the story already.
