Amazing

What the what? Amazing. I love it when Coho goes rogue. This book will turn your world upside down.
Listen, we all know I love Colleen, right? Well, when she said she was doing paranormal I was even more all in than I had been before. ALL THE IN. I read this book with bated breath the whole time.
Leeds meets Layla at a wedding and it is love at first sight. He knows that this person is his person and he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. After a traumatic accident, Layla is left reeling and things begin to change. She's different, not the Layla from before so he takes her back to where they fell in love in hopes to bring her out of her head. Only, when they get there, things take an even darker turn.
I didn't see this one coming. I mean, I had suspicions and I thought I knew, but I didn't really know, you know? Colleen has a way with words that just leaves you breathless all while you are still reeling from what just happened. There were so many times I sat there with my mouth open going "WHAT IS EVEN GOING ON?" I waited for the other shoe to drop and boy did it ever. A one, two punch will leave you shocked and speechless.
I will read anything Colleen writes, but with each book she continues to surprise me and not only that, her stories are so original. When an author continues to evolve like this, it's a sight to behold honestly. I urge you to try this, even if you aren't a fan of paranormal because you won't be let down. If you are, well, we can talk about it.

Layla

Layla is a bit different than Colleen Hoover's other books but gosh what a breath of fresh air! Just buckle up, let go and go for the ride. Yes, it teeters on the edge a bit but just go for it! Well done, Colleen Hoover! Well Done! Narration was great too and I honestly had a hard time not listening. It kept me totally entertained.

Holy Crap what just happened

This book threw me for a loop. I was super confused in the beginning and was thinking WTF is going on. But by the end it all made sense. I always wonder what these authors of crazy stuff have going on in their brain that they can come up with this crazy book hang over content, how warped are they? I listened to this book on Audible. Normally I listen to my books at 2.2 speed. This one I had to slow down to 1.6. I'm not sure why. The narrator didn't have an accent or anything difficult to listen to. It wasn't overly complicated to follow, but I needed to slow it down. I have already been recommending this book to friends. Free on Kindle Unlimited including the audible. Go get it now!!!!

did not know what to expect when getting into this and it became a crazy adventure. very glad I got into it

Not what I expected

finished this while at work. in one night. was very interesting to say the least. the writing definitely had me guessing ploy twists. buuuut I didn't not guessing the actual twist this story had. Had me starring off into space. very good. Colleen never fails to enlighten me.

loved it, but then again, what do we expect from Colleen. not the typical love story... even better

Amazing book again!

Still amazed by how Colleen wrote this book, it made me feel scared, happy and sad! So many twist and so many twisted emotions towards this book!

Beautiful Written, Silly Story

Colleen Hoover is an amazing writing. Although this story was a bit of a stretch it was still beautifully written.

WHAT A MIND BEND!!!

THIS BOOK! It had me on the edge of my seat the whole time! It was NOTHING like my normal CoHo but I loved it nonetheless!!! I just needed to know what happened and regardless I LOVED THE END!!!
