Quick and spicy high fae fantasy. Just what I was wanting. I can’t wait for the rest of the audiobooks! I hope they come out soon!!!! Consumed in one setting. It was great.

Exactly what I wanted
I got exactly what I wanted out of this book and that was a fast, paced and steamy fantasy romance. If you’re newer to fantasy romance, this may not be the place to start because I feel like it doesn’t do a lot of it’s own world building and instead I just inferred a lot based on what I’ve learned in other fantasy books. However, I wanted something quick to read and this hit the spot for me and I can’t wait to continue the series. Narration was top tier also.

a really good read
I really enjoyed this book. While not fair to judge it with ACOTAR due to the difference in story writing and world's. This is a very good book to follow with. There isn't as much character building as in with the other but you don't feel slighted. The characters are fun to follow as long as you remind yourself that the fmc is a human in a world of fae. it's a good first book though and I'm excited to read the rest. it was definitely way to short lol.
