Tough and Tender

I liked this book by Anna Stone. She is apparently a good writer, but don't tell her I said so.

First half was really good

The first half was really good and spicy. There were some creative sexy scenes that surprised me in a good way. Gave me some good ideas. It got a little corny near the end.

Very good storyline

Some sexy dom and submissive characteristics in this book. But still a romantic love story! I loved it!

Short and sweet

Overall a good listen. Was a bit condensed and would've liked more. But I did appreciate Anna tying up the story and didn't leave anything open ended.

Loved the work dynamic

Appreciated the build up in the primary relationship.
Great narration as well.
Everything else was very well written!

Strong woman and ....

What can be not good in a book about a strong, mature woman and a small town younger woman?
This is one of those books that you more or less know how it will go, but than there is this plot that you didn’t think about..
Great book, great narration.

Worth it

I’m liking Ana Stone books. I really enjoyed the narrator and the book. It’s worth it!

Anna Stone is solid.

I really liked this book, at this point, Anna Stone is on the list of authors, from whom I will most likely pick up any new releases.
I really enjoy her writing. I first got into her Irresistibly Bound series, which is probably a bit more on the erotic side, and this leaning more towards romance.

I rate this 5 in every category, but I have some minor nitpicks.

First of, the ending felt somewhat rushed, the characters get a great ending & cute epilogue, but some of the plot towards the end, could definitely have used a bit more space.

Secondly, I initially really didn't like the voice Rebecca Estrella did for Lillian (Not bad, just not to my preference), but I got used to it, and think she did a really good job on the read. She's definitely on my "safe-reader" list, because that's of much importance to me, when listening to an audio book. A bad read can definitely spoil even the best of books.

I can't wait to read all Anna Stone books! I loved this book!! One of the best books I have ever read..

This is my first time reading an Anne Stone Book. It won’t be the last time. I will read them all!
