El objetivo es crear una impronta a partir de palabras que se pueden convertir en el leitmotiv de la vida de un individuo; palabras que provocan tal impronta y que pronunciará hasta el último minuto de su vida.
Tras mucho analizar la literatura mundial y sus intentos de lograr una impronta con el menor número de palabras, logramos crear las bases de valoración y selección a partir de: El arte de síntesis del poeta. El genio de la definición del filósofo.La capacidad de concreción del científico. Y es entonces que surge el mayor atributo del creador de cuentos cortos:La destreza escritural del Relatista para condensar el lenguaje. De tal manera que surge un nuevo calificativo de la creación literaria: el Relatista. De esta manera inauguramos un nuevo género y le pusimos nombre: Cuentinimios. Necesario para diferenciarlo del cuentista y de un escritor de novelas.
Quien ha escrito en todos los géneros y, además, ha construido imágenes a partir de versos, entiende que cada género demanda sus propios andamiajes. No pretendemos enseñar sino mostrar los andamiajes para la construcción de un relato. Se le ha llamado mini cuento o mini ficción. Incluso: mini relato. Pero, de hecho, el relato de la inmediatez nos demanda la mayor habilidad escritural para que se asemeje a la rapidez con la cual nos relatamos el mundo día con día: Pavimentar la hoja con el asfalto del ingenio escritural para la edificación del relato, del cuento o de la novela. Tema que da para un ensayo mucho mayor que posteriormente compartiremos. El objetivo es haber logrado la más precisa selección de los relatos, inéditos, y que son los más extraordinarios. El lector deberá comprender la extensa labor de buscarlos como si fuéramos mineros extrayendo piedras preciosas, y en toda la extensión del mundo literario.
El cuento corto debe partir de dos hojas hasta no más de cinco. El cuento es aceptable de cinco hojas y no más de quince. Quien ha llevado una narración a más de quince paginas ya puede extenderse mucho más, puesto que no ha respetado los principios del cuento donde se debe expresar lo necesario para la trasmisión escritural y simbólica de un tema que necesariamente esté contando una historia.De tal manera que el relato no debe exceder dos hojas. De hecho, debiera ser a lo sumo de hoja y media para que haya el suficiente espacio que permita la respiración de la vista.
