Convinced it's the handiwork of one of her former student's parents, a local Mob boss, and afraid for her life, she turns to Bobby for help, but threatening a Mob boss while he's fulfilling a vendetta may not be the best idea.

Romance, humor, and murder are sure to mix and mingle whenever Alison and Bobby link up in Extracurricular Activities, Maggie Barbieri's second charming mystery.

Wonderful

This was another awesome book in this series funny and a great mystery we really love the narrator

Love the story, not so much the narration

This is a good story perhaps my new series of choice with one exception-the narrator. I found the narrator to be distracting. I would like more expression, change in tones and the pace. To me it sounds automated. I liked the story so I continued to the end and happy that I did. The ending was unexpected and worth hanging to the dnd of the book.

I gave it a shot

I rolled my eyes at so much of this book. Most of it was just stupid.

Narrator is terrible

The story is good but the narrator has such a whiny voice that I had to stop listening

LOVE THIS SERIES

The main character is so human, quirky and fun. Lots of things going on, hated to loose, well, you gotta hear it to find that out!

Fun and entertaining

Extracurricular Activities is a fun an entertaining cozy mystery with engaging characters and an interesting plot. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Grow up

I think Allison would be a more enjoyable character if she didn't act like a 12 year old with her first crush.

The narrator throws the whole thing off

I absolutely love this author, and I love the books. There is the right amount of humor, and the right amount of mystery and danger. At the same time that all of these things come together, mixed perfectly is the right amount of lightheartedness to the book. However, the narrator sounds like a grandmother. She does not sound anything like a 30 something woman. So what happens is when it’s romantic or it’s flirtatious or she’s reading as the male perspective bad. It really sounds like my grandmother trying to tell me a sexy story. It’s often cringe because she sounds so old.
