"So many of us hold a deep belief that we were born unworthy," reflects Adyashanti, "inadequate, unlovable, and alone." But what if, in truth, we weren't put here to pay penance, change our karma, or "fix" ourselves? What if we chose to be here because we so loved the world that we poured ourselves into it - to make it whole again, to restore "the hidden divinity amid the disaster"? With Healing the Core Wound of Unworthiness, we're invited to entertain that possibility.

Here, in her most beloved and acclaimed work, Pema shows that moving toward painful situations and becoming intimate with them can open up our hearts in ways we never before imagined. Drawing from traditional Buddhist wisdom, she offers life-changing tools for transforming suffering and negative patterns into habitual ease and boundless joy.

Humanity now, perhaps more than in any previous time, has an opportunity to create a new, saner, more loving world. This will involve a radical inner leap from the current egoic consciousness to an entirely new one. In illuminating the nature of this shift in consciousness, Tolle describes in detail how our current ego-based state of consciousness operates. Then gently, and in very practical terms, he leads us into this new consciousness. We will come to experience who we truly are and learn to live and breathe freely.

Story
In his third book, Tantric philosopher and Oxford scholar Dr. Christopher Wallis calls out the seemingly helpful spiritual platitudes dominating our current culture and demonstrates how these "near-truths" can stand in the way of a more radically free and meaningful life—and ultimately, a deeper spiritual awakening. Rooted in the Asian wisdom traditions, Wallis’s book uncovers why these oft-heard clichés are “near enemies of the truth" that can distract us from real spirituality, and can even cause unnecessary suffering.

A Must-Listen of a Must-Read!

Publisher's summary
Adyashanti asks us to let go of our struggles with life and open to the full promise of spiritual awakening: the end of delusion and the discovery and expression of our essential being. After 15 years as a spiritual teacher, Adyashanti has found that the simpler the teaching, the greater its power to initiate this awakening.
On Falling into Grace, he shares what he considers fundamental insights to "open ourselves to that mysterious element that enters in the hidden and quiet moments and sparks a revolution in the way that we perceive life." Wherever you may be on your own spiritual path, you will find in these sessions down-to-earth guidance on breaking the trance of ego, experiencing the raw energy of emotion, cultivating inner stability, transcending the world of opposites, and more.
In the same way that we fall into the arms of a loved one or drop our heads on the pillow at night, we can surrender into the beauty and truth of who and what we really are. Falling into Grace is a program that gets to the core of why we suffer, and allows us to explore Adyashanti's invitation "to be taken by a moment of grace and fall into a sense of life when it is not separate from you, when life is actually an expression of something indefinable, mysterious, and immense."
Highlights:
- The human dilemma - the concept of a separate self and the choice to stop believing the thoughts that perpetuate suffering
- “Taking the backward step” into the pure potential of the present moment
- Why spiritual awakening can be a disturbing process
- Intimacy and availability - feeling absolute union with every part of our experience
- True autonomy - the unique expression of our own sense of freedom

Story
What would happen if you were to allow everything to be exactly as it is? If you gave up the need for control, and instead embraced the whole of your experience in each moment that arose? In the 14 years that he studied Zen, Adyashanti found that most seasoned meditators had used the practice as a means to a goal they never reached.

Story
We've been taught that awakening is difficult, teaches Adyashanti, and that to wake up from the illusion of separation takes years. But all it really takes is a willingness to look into the depths of our experience here and now. In this refreshing "non-meditation" session, Adyashanti invites you to let go of all techniques, even the concept of yourself as a meditator, and just let everything be as it is.

Story
In this book of key spiritual teachings from unpublished discourses, the great Advaita Master, Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, teaches us that we are not limited to the body. Because of our mistaken body identity, we feel separate from what we truly are. Our identification with the body and mind subjects us to endless cycles of pleasure and pain, desire and fear, which cause us to search beyond ourselves for that which we believe we lack.

Almaas takes us on a journey beyond a narrow, individual understanding of love to an exploration of what he calls the boundless dimension of Divine Love. This is not the kind of love that we feel toward somebody else; it is nondual, a love without boundaries. Or put another way, it is universal true nature experienced as love.

Fantastic!
I listened to this awake & when I couldn't sleep I let it be the background of my sleep as a way to give my thoughts peace through a really rough time. My favorite was when I briefly woke from a dream and heard the author state something along the lines of, "relationship is anxiety." It made me laugh and smile as I thought, "well, my separated husband and I are more in relationship now than we've ever been."

A deeply psycho-analytical look into spirituality
Some interesting conclusions and driving home the fact that the mind, and thought, overcomplicate our existence and thus, happiness. The last two chapters also offer an incredibly fresh perspective on some of the age old doctrines and beliefs of religion, particularly Christianity.

LISTEN TO THIS BOOK
A deep understanding an compassion emanates from Adya Shantis voice and words. The wisdom is profound. I've listened twice in a row, and will for sure get back for at third and forth listen. New understandings of the words keep popping up. I am deeply grateful for the teachings of 'this guy.'
The teaching bites a little different … a new discovery for me, to hear the words of awakening or the words of consciousness being spoken this openly, directly, and without any sweet glazing … witch just makes it even sweeter. thank you
