A compelling and contemplative listen ...

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

As a professional mid-career woman I can relate to much of the experience and advice shared in this book and I know many of my friends would too.

What other book might you compare Grow Your Value to and why?

I have not read books in this (personal development) genre for many years so I have no immediate comparison except to say that it has brought me a better appreciation of the author's on-air persona (I am a fan, but have never read any of her books till now) and I will chuckle every time her colleagues quip about her off-days as 'holidays to the south of France'.

Have you listened to any of Andrea Gallo’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I am unfamiliar with Ms. Gallo but thoroughly enjoyed her smooth, well paced and mellow read.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

My extreme reaction had to do with my current work experiences where the themes of gender bias and sexism in management culture feature strongly, and where my discontent with not being permitted to fully contribute and achieve have spurred my drive to move on to a more fulfilling point in my journey, which has already included junior and senior leadership positions and entrepreneurship. This read has primed me for the next step.

I highly recommend this book to any woman driven to achieve her full personal and work potential.

Traitor to Women Survivors. Insisted Kavanaugh maybe didn’t do it..

Regret buying this from a woman author weak on women enough to betray women survivors’ value, by standing up for Kavanaugh’s supposed possible innocence. Couldn’t recognize privileged, politically extremist smug “how dare you” pompous man grieving his past actions returned to appropriately take him down. Morning Mika is Good Riddance Mika.
