This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Provence, family and life at its best
I love Pagnol's writing. He captures life:family life, life at the beginning of the 20th century, and distills life in Provence. The reading was so well done, captivating!!! and carried me away with the words. I highly recommend this book.
