Publisher's summary

Paul Noble is a genius with a higher IQ than Einstein. Despite this, he still struggled with language learning at school. He found himself feeling "confused, incapable, and unable to really say anything." As a result of his negative early experiences, Paul has come up with a groundbreaking new method of language teaching that removes the need for months of study. With Paul Noble, everyone really can speak a language.

Part 2 of the course covers:

  • Numbers
  • Eating out
  • Asking for directions
  • At the train station

A native-speaking German expert helps Paul to deliver the course and to perfect your pronunciation. No complicated grammatical explanations, no writing - no stress. Learn over 6,000 words in no time at all and - most importantly - learn how to make your new vocabulary work for you. A downloadable booklet is also included to use as a reference and revision tool.

Learn German with Paul Noble combines an exciting, new, nontraditional approach to language learning with the easy, relaxed appeal of an audio-only product. No books. No rote memorisation. No chance of failure.

This is just a refresher from the first "book".

The information is great for a beginning german student but this course only repeats what was taught in the first course.

More review than anything.

I can understand someone's frustration after completing part two and feeling they can take on the world of German speakers. Thus, part 2 feels like a review. But practice makes perfect and while it is part on only slightly more advanced it is essentially to the learning of a second language. Or, just do the last half of part one again. Same thing.

Great Follow On

I am struggling to see why people say there was no additional vocabulary or phrasing in this part. I felt there was a respectable jump in complexity with this part and some crucial rules. highly recommended

Don't buy this one if you have part one...

Any additional comments?

Part 2 of this series is completely contained within part one, so I am not sure what the marketing strategy is here. I think it should be explained how to order the audiobooks so that you are not paying for the same thing twice...duh!

I am new to German and found that Part 1 is an excellent start.

Good stuff

It was very repetitive, however that is the point. It practically guarantees that you will learn what there teaching and what they are teaching is essential as a base to german Grammer. I have recommended Paul Noble after the first book and will continue after this one.

no need for part 2. Part 1 is a must however.

i feel the first book covers all the same information and much more. this book was not bad just unnecessary because book 1 does such a great job of teaching german.

not sure why the bad reviews?

I thought part 2 was just as good as part 1. I'm not sure why so many people are reviewing it badly. If you're learning german for the first time, part 2 is the natural and logical next step. Can't wait for part 3, but going to repeat part 2 first!
