Publisher's summary

A secret poem brings Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth together. Will schemes and sickness tear them apart?

While caring for her sister at Netherfield, Elizabeth finds a poem hidden in Mr. Bingley’s library. She assumes Mr. Bingley is the poet, but this is soon challenged by Mr. Darcy himself. Now, Elizabeth cannot ignore the spark of intrigue she feels for the mysterious gentleman.

Mr. Darcy pours his heart out on paper but maintains his reserve in person. Confused and doubting herself, Elizabeth strives to find out which Mr. Darcy is real. But this is complicated when Caroline Bingley hatches a scheme to win Mr. Darcy for herself. Then Mr. Bennet becomes very ill.

Can Mr. Darcy overcome the betrayals of his past to win Elizabeth’s heart? Or will doubt, illness, and underhanded schemes leave the final verse of Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy’s love unwritten?

Find out in "Mr. Darcy's Poetry of the Heart," a sweet variation of Pride and Prejudice, where the elegance of verse meets the complexities of the heart, promising a journey filled with intrigue, romance, and a testament to the enduring power of love.

The virtual voice was very good - well written boo

I enjoyed this sweet story. It begins in Netherfield where Jane is laid up with a cold and Elizabeth is taking care of her. Caroline Bingley is extremely hateful, Bingley is loving, and Darcy rather withdrawn, especially after Elizabeth finds some poetry that he has written. When Jane is well enough to go back home, Mr. Bennett has become very very ill. Darcy, who has by now fallen in love with Elizabeth, sends to London to retrieve the best medical person he knows to bring back to Mr. Bennett to treat. During all this time Jane and Bingley becomes very close, Elizabeth and Darcy fall in love over poetry, and Caroline gets her comeuppance and is pushed out of the picture. Yay!

Enjoyable Listen

Well written & performed! This was the BEST VIRTUAL VOICE rendition so far. Is there a way to choose a preferred “voice’s” accent &/or gender as there is in SIRI?
