Wonderful anthology of Greek Myths

I really enjoyed audiobook. Stephen Fry is a fabulous narrator. The stories, though familiar were given so much more connection to our modern world and language. If you love stories and word play and language you will love this book.

Wonderful storytelling

This collection of Greek Myths was beautifully told by the author, who does his best to provide both a cohesive and understandable timeline of Greek Myths. He also does a great job of reminding you who the countless characters are. Moreover, he connected the various characters and stories to how they changed our language.
I'm sure I will want to reread this in the future.

Greek Myths, and Stephen Fry, perfect.

I cannot think of a better way to listen to, and enjoy along with a few explanations, very helpful, Greek mythology. Such a huge and pretty confusing, for the Lehman, subject. I am definitely going to be listening to it again. My favorite way to learn, or should I say revisit, Greek mythology. Thank you, Stephen Fry.

A Boon to the Self-Isolating!

Now, to be clear, I would be enthralled by Stephen Fry reading my shopping list! But this is light years beyond my humble list making abilities. I had some vague familiarity with the Greek Myth, but this is SO informative, and SO entertaining, and just plain magical.

The talent of Stephen Fry is incomparable.

Stephen Fry is a treasure and a delight.

The great and venerable Mr. Fry does a stupendous job in his retailing of the grest myths of ancient Greece. His use of alliteration, hyperbole (if myths can be hyperbolic), and classic dry British wit create an engaging and enticing story telling that makes each myth memorable and entertaining. Plus Stephen fry can read the phone book and I would be just as satisfied.
