Read This Book!

This book is an insightful look into the complex world of attachments and how they turn unhealthy. The author does a wonderful job of pinpointing How specifically, “anxious attachments” can be very negative, and we don't realize the impact it has on our lives and the lives of others. I enjoyed this book as the author delves into why we’re needy, why we’re insecure, have a hard time trusting, think negatively, the list goes on. Jane Kennedy does a great job of showing you how these negative thoughts were developed and how if left unchecked, can ruin relationships. The book is practical and easy to follow and it's hard to deny the truths she reveals. This book is a must-read for anyone who wants to live a more dynamic and positive life while transforming the relationships in your life.

Anchored, Not Anxious!

The Anxious Attachment Anchor was a mind-blowing listen, in such an amazing and transformative way. From the introduction, I felt like the author understood where I’m at and the struggles I have faced for years, constantly overanalyzing social interaction and relationships, not intentionally, but as if that is the only way to do things. Well, there is another way! This book showed me that there are practical steps I can take and affirmations I can state and start to believe. I know that as I apply the incredible principles learned from this book, my relationships will change forever and I will be able to confidently relate to others from a place of secure attachment instead of anxiety.
