Adventure through time
Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials meets Margaret Atwood's Oryx and Crake. A complex, compelling, and intriguing adventure through time and a parallel world. The many independent but intwined life stories of the various characters made this story hard to put down.

Sandra Duncan's reading is sensational
Sandra Duncan's performance in the final chapter in The Bone Clocks is sensational. It was a completely immersive experience, more so than any other part of the book. Want to listen to the final chapter again, to revisit the transporting experience. What an actor! Another terrific book by David Michell.
