Publisher's summary
The cruel blade of fate takes the bravest hearts first. New heroes will be forged in the fire of the fallen.
Alternate history—1117 AD. The first Crusade has torn its way through Denmark, bringing fire and the sword to all who refuse to submit to the soldiers of Christendom. The lords of the west stand astride the ruins of Jutland and turn their eyes eastward across the cold sea to the homeland of the Aesir themselves.
Ordulf faces the consequences of capture by a Norse warband. Taken to their capital in slavery, he now serves the enemies of the cross, making the very weapons they carry against his people. He faces a terrible choice: to accept his fate or be destroyed by it.
Reeling from the loss of three kings and a kingdom, the Norse gather in the home of their gods to choose a new ruler and prepare to meet the coming storm. The great host of the crusade will march again, and the people of the North will meet them with steel and shields and the death cries of their heroes.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

In 2059, two vastly different groups of people portrayed by the compelling trio of Brendan Fraser (Academy Award winner), Luke Kirby (Emmy Award winner), and Vanessa Sears (Dora Award winner) undergo cryonic suspension. While their bodies are frozen, their minds, still active and awake, are uploaded into a massive quantum computer. The first group are all astronauts, about to leave Earth on a one-way interstellar colonization mission. The second group consists of convicted murderers and volunteers who elect to serve their sentences in a virtual-reality prison.

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Story
When the Monster Relations Bureau tells me I've been identified as a kraken shifter's mate, my first instinct is to run. I learned the hard way what it means to be treated like someone's possession, and I'm not about to make the same mistake twice. Only, Elias is… different. Patient and careful with me, willing to wait as long as it takes for me to let him in. The more I learn to trust him, and the more he draws me under with the dark temptation of his touch, the more the defenses I've held onto for so long start to crumble.

Story
My name is Soldier, but I was never meant to be a hero. From the moment I was born, I was looked at as a beacon of hope, a guiding light—a savior. That type of pressure can drive a man to desperation, to do things he shouldn't, and in my case, that's exactly what happened. All I ever wanted to be was a good person, someone my grandparents could be proud of, but for a long time, I couldn't find the strength to be proud of myself. I paid the price. I did my time. Yet... somehow, I got lucky.

Looking for a new fantasy romance series that combines the "snarky mortal woman navigates a world hostile to her species" vibes of The Serpent and the Wings of Night with the "questioning my chastity vow in the face of this hot new mysterious male in my life" energy of From Blood and Ash plus the "we're conducting an investigation together but are struggling to keep our hands off each other" tension of Crescent City: House of Earth and Blood?
