excited to start my High 5 life

I knew of Mel Robbins but hadn't read any of her books. then I found the small series of Podcasts she did for Audible and I was hooked. Came this book.. I've been doing personal development for over 10 years and with this book in my vault, I can say Mel is my guru. she is honest, very funny and frank. most of all she is real. High 5 to her!

LIFE CHANGING!

Mel Robbin’s book is a MUST READ! I was part way through the Audible and purchased the hard back copy b/c I knew I was going to read it again; this time underlining and high lighting. You are preaching to the choir! Thank you foe reaffirming what I already knew!

There were many points, when listening to this on Audible, that I pictured myself going through some of the crazy things that have happened in my life. I love that you back what you speak about with science & I believe that if this was taught to our children, the world would be a better place. I had already been doing many of the things you spoke about to change my life, but you articulated what you spoke about, backed by science (I have BS in biological sciences & cognitive psychology so you were speaking my language) in a way that anyone could understand, and you used some real life stories to bring it all together on a “human” level. Thank you for your contribution in helping humanity move forward. I hope someday I get to meet you or attend a live talk. I look forward to seeing you on my computer screen this weekend at the “High 5 Habit Masterclass.” You have made a difference in my life- I am so grateful for that, because I certainly picked a hard class in this lifetime. Everybody gives feedback about content. I would cheer up the way the book is read. It sounds like a real person telling you a story. To listen the emotions and the natural way you talk made me engage to the book until the end. ( besides the content… of course!!!).

A Non-Western Buddhist Roadmap to Forgive Yourself and Realize Your Best Self

Mel comes close to embracing Western Buddhism and the concept of self-love and realization, but stops short. Yet, she delivers actionable suggestions that can help us and others recognize how we can be our own worst enemy and what we can do about that. She offers excellent insight and provides the listener with personal stories and questions campales to enable the listener to see oneself in the situations described. She also recognizes how self doubt will resurface and what to do about it. It is a book I recommend to people that are doubting themselves and are seeking to break through.

Good job Mel, your getting close to embracing some important principles of Buddhist philosophy.

Life changing book

I could write a novel about what this book has done for me. It’s given me the confidence, tools and belief in myself and allowed me to build a healthy relationship with myself so I can dream big and take action towards my goals without reservation.
