After the War of the Gods, the demons were cast out and fell to the world. Mankind was nearly eradicated by the seemingly unstoppable beasts until the gods sent the great hero, Ramrowan, to save them. He united the tribes, gave them magic, and drove the demons into the sea. Infused with magic, shadows and starlight, the powerful godblades were believed to be lost nearly half a millennia ago, when the Godswar ended. Now, however, one has been found by the unlikeliest of wielders: Sampson Gaard, a blind but ambitious prince with something to prove. The only question is whether he controls the blade or the blade him. With an insidious evil lurking in the shadows, the answer may very well determine the fate of all Kingfall.

Story
There has always been a darkness to Ilmar, but never more so than now. The city chafes under the heavy hand of the Palleseen occupation, the choke-hold of its criminal underworld, the boot of its factory owners, the weight of its wretched poor and the burden of its ancient curse. What will be the spark that lights the conflagration? Despite the city's refugees, wanderers, murderers, madmen, fanatics and thieves, the catalyst, as always, will be the Anchorwood–that dark grove of trees, that primeval remnant, that portal, when the moon is full, to strange and distant shores.

Wolf of the North: It has been generations since the Northlands have seen a hero worthy of the title. Many have made the claim, but few have lived to defend it. Timid, weak, and bullied, Wulfric is as unlikely a candidate as there could be. Jorundyr's Path: Jorundyr's Path is walked only by the brave. As Wulfric pursues Adalhaid's Blood Debt, he soon learns that the path to revenge is never easy. The Blood Debt: A blade fit for a hero. An army for a tyrant. A reckoning long awaited, and a tale reaching its end.

Publisher's summary
Heroes will rise and gods will fall…
The gods have broken free, in an inferno of magic and flame. Now they seek total domination, turning Erland’s conflicts and divisions to their own dark purposes.
Orsian is trapped in the dungeons of Merivale. He must escape the darkness and duel his hateful brother to take up his father’s legacy, as Erland’s champion in the coming storm.
Far to the West, Rymond Prindian fights for his crown. Outnumbered and outclassed by the imperial legions, his ragged band of warriors and mercenaries needs a miracle to survive.
Pherri, torn from existence by magic, awakes in another world—a twisted mirror of the Erland she knows. Only by finding a way home can she hope to save the ones she loves.
Erland’s armies march once more, guided by the ancient malice of the gods. Bonds of family, love and loyalty will be shattered in an epic final battle that will echo across infinite worlds.
The Madness of Gods is the third and final volume in R.S. Moule’s thrilling Erland Saga. With action, magic and intrigue, it’s perfect for fans of George R.R. Martin, John Gwynne and Raymond E. Feist.

I don’t know who I am. I only know what I need to be. I awoke in a tomb. I had nothing but a big sword and uncertain memories from uncertain lives. I was a great warrior who wandered this land before being killed by an ageless tyrant wizard-king. I was a warrior of a very different sort, who lived in a city of steel and glass.

Loved the whole series ! I would like more . The books never get boring. I’ll listen if he can keep writing like that. S.S.B
