In a future reshaped by the melting ice caps, eleven-year-old Eliza wakes to a world of mermaids and pirates. Great storytelling!
I was hooked from the beginning!! The story, the world building, the characters and their witty banter. There are even moments of genuine feelings whether that be friendships or just of life, period. By the end you really see the progression of the characters and I, dare say, want more!!
