finance at its best.

This books #awesomnominal view of finance sheds light on all financial strategies exemplified by my business. I'm in awe at the way it is laid out. I think this should be required reading in all inner city African American schools with full financial presentations to follow. If all Americans read this book we would all be millionaires. This country would be truly a land of dreams come true.

good main points. some stories dragged on

I liked the overall concept of it and it drilled in the main points- I will always put away at least 10% of my earnings. some stories went far too in depth when it didn't need to.

As straight forward financial advise as you'll get

Any additional comments?

The advise on this book is ridiculously simple. I've read plenty of financial advise books, blogs, articles - yet this book is the one that put things in such a simple way that drove me to take the most action. Just save 10% of your income - easy - just change your 401(k) and done. After that, use another 20% of your income to pay down debt/invest: live with what's left. Easy, even a bit obvious: but given it's simplicity, it's hard not to follow the advise. The way in which is presented is so straight forward a grade-school kid could understand it. The fact that this knowledge has been around for millennia and we're still trying to figure it out is mind-boggling.
