This author's voice is grating on the ears

I cannot stand this author's voice. She sounds like a typical millennial and she almost always gravels her throat at the end of each sentence. It is absolutely annoying. She sounds narcissistic. I want to respond, 'uh muh gawd!' every time she speaks. They could have spent more money on a professional voice actor to read this to make the information more palatable.
