Publisher's summary
A woman all alone in the world. The trainer who heals her. And a second chance at life.
Milly, Emily and Jonquil grew up in the foster system together. They were the best of friends, sisters by situation, until Milly drifted away from them and the woman who raised them. Now Milly’s been injured on the job, she needs her foster mother and sisters back in her life. When Milly loses her foster mother, she inherits the house where she lived as a teenager. And the gift shocks her — why would her foster mother give her a house? She discovers a trunk in the attic with a wedding dress and a stack of letters inside full of dreams.
Bronte is a teenaged girl with very strict parents. They won’t let her have a boyfriend but when she meets Finn in a small country town one summer, she falls head over heels in love from the very first moment. Her parents rush her back to the city and ground her, but Bronte isn’t going to give up so easily on her first love.
Milly follows a trail of secrets, lies and broken promises to learn the truth about the former owner of the wedding dress and the author of the letters. And in the process she gets to know her foster mother in a way she never has before.
Callum has worked as a detective for the past decade. He’s used to putting bad guys behind bars, but then his fiancee cheats on him and he realises it’s time for him to move on. He leaves his life behind and moves to the sunny Gold Coast to become a personal trainer. When Callum gets a job at a rehabilitation clinic, Milly will be one of his very first clients. She’ll challenge him at every turn as he works to rehabilitate her after her injury.
After months of working together, Callum realises he can no longer ignore his growing attraction to Milly, even while they drive each other crazy.
Going after his heart’s desire could risk everything he’s worked so hard to achieve. If only dating clients wasn’t taboo.
Heart-warming and unputdownable, this extraordinary story of love and family reconciliation will melt your heart and keep you listening all night long.
Fall in love with Milly and Callum in “The Wedding Dress.”

Beckett: If you’re reading this, well, you know the last-letter drill. You made it. I didn’t. Get off the guilt train, because I know if there was any chance you could have saved me, you would have. I need one thing from you: get out of the army and get to Telluride. My little sister Ella’s raising the twins alone. She’s too independent and won’t accept help easily, but she has lost our grandmother, our parents, and now me. It’s too much for anyone to endure. And here’s the kicker: there’s something else you don’t know that’s tearing her family apart.

Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel - The Vipers. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses. Yes, sold me. They own me now. I’m theirs in every sense of the word. But I’ve never been meek and compliant.

This Psych 312 assignment just might send me off the deep end. Determining whether love at first sight really exists with Robbie Moravian as my project partner of all people? He’s the sappiest man alive, so upbeat I could scream, and clearly rooting for happy endings at every turn. How does he not learn from experience considering our own meet-cute last semester almost got us expelled? But we both need to pass this course to graduate. So we’re interviewing five random couples about their meet-cutes and relationships and spending all this time together. Which is certainly...educational.

All the Feels
Be prepared to run the gamut of emotions as you work your way through Millie's life. An aloof, bitter orphan has her life turned upside down as we follow her journey forward and back. The superbly narrated audiobook whisks you through, and I'm going to leave you hanging here because you will to want to read this on your own, and not have any spoilers.

Milly and Callum
I enjoyed this book, the message being to never give up hope. Millie and Callum came together following a tragic accident. He was her personal trainer helping her to recover after a horrific fall damaged her spine.
Brought up in foster care Millie never allowed herself to feel really close to anyone but somehow Callum broke down the barriers around her heart
The story flows as well, and I liked the characters.
The narration by Melissa Chambers was enjoyable and I enjoyed listening to her.

The Wedding Dress by Lilly Mirren pulled me in immediately. I love how the author wrote the story of despair into hope and love. She really conveyed so many emotions and wrote incredible characters. Melissa Chambers performed the book beautifully.

Sweet Story!
This is the first book in the White Wedding Series. This is a sweet and beautifully written second chance at love. The characters are well developed, and interesting. Milly and Callum's story is emotional, sweet, and engaging. The supporting characters are great. Bronte and Finn's story is intriguing. The ending is heartwarming. I liked this family saga. Melissa Chambers did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Emily and Jonquil's stories.
