Really enjoyed this installment

I truly love this series and the audio productions. And I was surprised to see some grumbling in reviewers on this installment- I adored the wind runner, as I do every installment. Part of the reason I love this series so much is the massive world building and diverse cast of characters that each have their own story and voice. It can be tricky for authors to keep so many side plots and characters without losing your interest but I can honestly say there is not a side plot that hasn’t pulled me in. Sometimes I think, ugh I don’t want to jump to this storyline right now, but within 5 minutes I’m hooked in. I enjoyed the deeper dive into Chandra and Boleros, as well as the crafts levels of Pallas. I enjoyed the intro to the vampires with Ryoka and I enjoyed NumbTongue’s development with Pyrite’s memories. I thought the Strongest of Pomle and the Germina/Helios/Jecrass were good and I’m stoked to see the future for the United nations company, especially in regards to the titan. This series continues to make me laugh and cry on my commute to and from work. Will be eagerly awaiting the next release.

Updates all around the world

It was great to get so much of Rioka at the start and I hope that continues in the next book. I also loved how Erin went on vacation to Palace and met new people. The update on Geneva and other Earthlings was great, but I didn't care for the King of Destruction so much. would've preferred to hear less about him. The swordsmiths in different parts of the world were really cool and it was just an overall wonderful continuation of this magical story. I so appreciate the details given to each character's feelings, facial expressions, background information and the building of relationships. These books are excellent because they're immersive, teleporting you right along with the others.

thoroughly enjoyed it

Another great book in the Wandering Inn series. The narration is outstanding as always.

A lot of people seem to be blasting this book as filler. This book is a progression in a long series, the pieces are going to move slowly. This book is about steady progression and world building. I really do not understand how fans of the series would complain about spending more time in the Wandering Inn world.

Thanks to both the author and narrator for this wonderful world we get to peak at.

Transition story

If you were expecting this to be all about Ryoka’s adventures, you’ll find that’s not the case. This is a story about side characters and not a lot of action, but I’m okay with that! With as big as the world is and all of the characters’ paths slowly intertwining, it takes time to set up all of their journeys! Given everything that happened in the last book, the events in this book are calm, transitioning characters into the next stage of the Wandering inn adventures.

Amazing Series

I never thought I’d have to try and keep myself from crying over goblins but this series makes it so difficult.

This is one of my favorite book series and totally worth the read/listen. I had to start reading the chapters on her website I was so caught up.

Truly Wonderful

Another fantastic book by a fantastic author! I really didn't want this book to end, the narrator does an amazing job. I know there are only so many hours in a day, but I really wish she could narrate faster 🤣

Low focus on the actual “Windrunner”

For a book with Ryoka’s title for its name we see so little of her that a different name should have been chosen. It did great at showing all the little things going on around the world and leaning into the new direction that literally everything is going to head towards but don’t call it the windrunner if that character isn’t the focus. At this point the next book “The Titan of Baleros” is going to be 60% about Rags and 20% about Niers. Excellent book though, don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed the progress and build up that you feel in this book. You can feel the buildup and excitement that’s leading somewhere new and exciting
