Zur Autorin
Jane Austen, geboren am 16.12.1775 in Steventon (Hampshire). Mit sechs Geschwistern wuchs sie im Pfarrhaus von Steventon auf, zu Hause unterrichtet von ihrem Vater, der ihre literarischen Neigungen förderte. Sie blieb unverheiratet und teilte ihr zurückgezogenes Leben mit ihrer Mutter und Schwester bis zu ihrem frühen Tod am 18.7.1817 in Winchester.

A lovely translation
It is a delight to encounter an old favorite in a different language. The narration is engaging. I have enjoyed slowing the speed to .8 normal which increases my understanding without losing the drama and expression of the story.
