Bittman is also known for his many appearances on the Today show and for his New York Times column “The Minimalist,” which ran for 13 years. He is the editor in chief of food publication The Bittman Project.

From Humble Origins to a Highly Regarded Chef and Author

I loved Mark’s grandmother’s recipe for potato “nic” served at holidays. We have several of Mark’s cookbooks in our family along with some of the books he mentioned.
