  • Leaving a Legitimate Leadership Legacy
    Jun 5 2024
Have you ever wondered what legacy you’ll be leaving behind to those around you? In this episode, John C. Maxwell shares four standards that you can embrace in order to leave a legitimate leadership legacy to the people you lead! After John’s lesson, Mark Cole and Chris Goede come together to talk about what they learned and how you can apply it to your life and leadership. Key takeaways: No matter what your strengths are, if character is not present in your life, it’s only a matter of time until it will hurt you and the legacy you’re passing on. We over value decision-making and we under value decision managing. At the end of a legacy done well or not done well, there will be a harvest. Our BONUS resource for this episode is the Leaving a Legitimate Leadership Legacy Worksheet, which includes fill-in-the-blank notes from John’s teaching. • Platitudes and Attitudes
    May 29 2024

As John C. Maxwell says, “One of the greatest values of mentors is the ability to see ahead what others cannot see and to help them navigate a course to their destination.” Today, John is sharing 10 different Platitudes and Attitudes that he has learned throughout his leadership that you can apply to your own life, family, business, and leadership as well!

After his lesson, Mark Cole and Traci Morrow discuss what John taught and give you practical ways to implement it into your leadership.

    Key takeaways:

    - Preparation is the backbone of quick decisions.

    - Leaders always view, make decisions, and lead based upon not only what is, but what has been and what will be.

    - The more you complain, the less you’ll obtain.

Our BONUS resource for this episode is the Platitudes and Attitudes Worksheet, which includes fill-in-the-blank notes from John’s teaching. You can download the worksheet by visiting MaxwellPodcast.com/Attitudes and clicking “Download the Bonus Resource.”

After John’s lesson, Mark Cole and Chris Goede discuss various ways that these practices can be applied to your life and leadership.

Great Information!

Wow! This is great information that all leaders should be required to study! Having experienced both sides, as I'm sure most of you have, of following and leading...I've learned mostly from experiencing bad leadership/management. I hope to never lose trust from my team, and to not only retain the best of the best, but that the environment draws the best of the best. Servant leadership is key!

Well done!!

Flying back home from Pittsbugh today I listened to this podcast. Can't tell you how many notes I took but it truly fired me up! one of the key takeaways for me was what Mark said about the fulfillment from teaching others and watching the lights go on! For some reason I could never put my finger on why I truly enjoyed leading. That was it for me!! Could tell that Mark was really expressing his true self here. The other piece was we become fully alive when we know what you were created to be. Great stuff!! Man, this podcast was outstanding and thank you for all your hard work to make these episodes happen. I am a life long learner!!!
