  • EP157 - Fiona Kong - Home Sweet Homes: Nurturing Co-Parenting Connections with Fiona
    Jun 10 2024

Fiona is the founder of Home Sweet Homes, a co-parenting journal and planner aimed at helping young children adjust to life after a separation or divorce.

As a single mother to a 5-year-old boy, she experienced first-hand the challenges that come with co-parenting, including stress, anxiety, guilt, and a lack of resources to support young children.

Fiona searched for tools and products to help co-parents and their children but found that there were few solutions available that directly involved children. This inspired her to create the Home Sweet Homes journal and planner, which evolved from a $2 mini planner she found at a dollar store.

The Home Sweet Homes journal and planner is designed to keep co-parents and their child connected and informed about each other's daily lives, while also providing comfort and joy across their two homes.

Fiona's mission is to bring positivity out of a difficult situation by combining the benefits of a journal and planner into a tool that stays with the child. After countless hours of brainstorming, writing, editing, and designing, Fiona had the first prototype of Home Sweet Homes in her hands in February 2021.

  • EP156 - Janet Price - Thriving After Divorce: Navigating Co-Parenting with Janet Price
    Jun 3 2024

Janet Price is the founder of JP Coaching & Consulting, and her mission is to help parents and children navigate divorce and beyond.

She offers innovative tools, strategies, and solutions to minimize the impact of divorce trauma and help families shift from surviving to thriving.

Janet has personally experienced many life-altering events, including being a child of a high-conflict divorce, then finding herself in a high-conflict co-parenting dynamic defending false allegations that no parent should have to defend, and having her children never come home to live with her at the ages of 11 and 13, to eventually building strong loving bonds with her children as adults.

Through her own healing journey, she has discovered her life's purpose, which is to work with parents in their co-parenting relationships and end the generational cycle of pain and trauma caused by unconscious parenting.

Janet believes that it's possible to enjoy life despite experiencing pain and complications, and she wants to help others do the same.
