If our children are our future, then whoever controls a country's children will inevitably control that country's future. We must not risk government schools turning our childrens' minds and hearts against God. Instead, our job as sons and daugthers of the Lord is to teach that the gospel has the power to transform and restore entire cultures, beginning with the individual. Our children bear the image of God, and their hearts and minds belong not to government, but to the Father. Revival starts locally, within our own homes, and only then can it extend into every aspect of culture until dead things are brought to life. The family of faith needs to take back responsiblity for our childrens' education, as the things they learn in school affect their view of the government, of the family, and of God. Kirk reminds us that "Your family is God's chief instrument for biblical, heavenly, healthy transfomation; it must center in your home." Christ-centered parents have been tasked with training their children in the way of the Lord, and if this mission is neglected, the divine mission of heaven-izing the earth will fade away. In His perfect timing, God uses people to turn the masses back to Him, but we must take up our mission as loving soldiers in God's army of compassion. If we are passive to this calling, just waiting around on earth until our time in heaven comes, we pose no threat in the battle against evil. We must not forget that the final chapter of the gospel story is "restoration," which tasks the family of faith with blessing and heaven-izing the earth. God has placed man on the earth to govern it, beautify it, and take dominion over it, but the saving power of Jesus calls us to spread the light and bring biblical transformation to our world as we know it. This is an Awesome Podcast! I watched Campfire Revival when it 1st came out on Facebook Livestreams & looked forward to Every episode each evening.. Live that people from all places in life are getting involved in teaching what they are knowledgeable about.. The Holy Spirit in Kirk is so VeRY Active.. Woohoo!! Praise God as He is One glorified by leaders with CouRaGe! Kirk Is an important leader..
