Publisher's summary

It's been ten years since Molly last set foot on her birth planet, and this isn't how she'd imagined her homecoming. The sky is full of an invading fleet, one powerful enough to threaten the entire galaxy. The new family she has come to rely on - her crew of alien misfits and runaways - are scattered in three directions. As they struggle to reunite, events beyond their control seem to be driving more than just them apart: the universe itself may be torn asunder if the bond between these unlikely heroes is broken.

disappointed

story greys chewy, long fighting scenes that go no where. like watching matrix 2 in slow motion and without the graphics.
previous book was much better.

I don't know what to think

If you could sum up Molly Fyde and the Blood of Billions in three words, what would they be?

I don't know. :) I keep finding myself buying the next book and listening to it raptly, but I can't tell you why. It's not the best book I've heard. It has some slowness and some weakness to the plot and the happenings. The characters are interesting and varied but kind of obvious. Overall, I like it, I just can't say, "here is why I like it." Now I'll have to listen again and again to figure out why. This might be Hugh Howey's whole evil plan, to make me listen again and again!!! Sigh... It might just work.
