The storyline!!

I loved the storyline!! Also the hot sexy scenes were really great! I will definitely recommend this book to my fellow book lovers!!

Great Story!

First time reading from this Author, absolutely a great story. The Narrators are so so good! I’ve always loved Michelle Sparks. But again, great story, funny as hell, spicy, and couldn’t ask for a better read.

Suspense equal to the romance

The heroine had a personality. The hero was your standard tortured alpha. So he was fun but he wasn’t what made the book better than dozens of other romances. What I liked about her was that she was a thinking adult who questioned the hero. But this story wasn’t romance with a little mafia in the background; it was as much suspense as romance. I’ve already purchased the next book in the series because I want to follow the next adventure.

Perfect!

I could not put it down! The plot was really interesting and well written, it had a lot of spice, the narration was perfect. I felt invested in the characters throughout the book. I am off to read the next book on the series- I love how the epilogue lead right into the second book with Sloan.

Re-Packaged Version of the Book

Watch out! This is repackaged and a new release date had me mistakenly purchase. I accept that error but just letting you know. If JTG is new to you, it's a great book but I already had it and the entire series in my library. Loved the narration.

Great story

I enjoyed this story and it was narrated very well. I wish I could have loved book 2 as much as this one.

Loved every single addictive word.. BUT HANG ON

JTG is one of my favorite authors so I was counting the hours eagerly waiting for this delicious delight to be released.. and wow, she delivered big feels with this sizzling story. But then 🤔 it sounds familiar and it’s actually a repackaged book I bought back in ‘21 along with 3,690 other listeners 🤬.

However, it is a “just one more chapter” high heat romance from beginning to end as sassy, feisty, don’t break the rules Schoolteacher heroine can’t walk away from the dangerous second in command of the Russian Mafia. JTG’s unstoppable plot has explosive, well-written chemistry between Natalie (who’s been grieving the loss of her missing fiancé for five yrs) and Kage.. the handsome, sexy, tattooed, dirty-talking, possessive, secretive alpha temporarily living next door. There’s great banter between these two characters and also between Natalie and her ride or die bestie Sloane with witty fun sarcasm too. However, it was Kage’s insta-intense feelings for Natalie and her ‘awakened desires’ thanks to all things Kage that had me hooked. That and the sincerity spoken and palpable sparks which ignited between them, the heat level their passion got to and the romantic swoony overbearing love Kage shows. The dilemmas, truths and twists they faced along the way was good.. the suspense that brought revelations that shook foundations and their committed love had me gripped until the very end. Well, that and the fantastic duet-style voice acting by Troy and Brooke who brought the characters love, charm and sensuality.. the high level hunger and heat.. the intensity, hurdles and drama.. and the bitter-sweet build to this doomed love to life. And Michelle had the perfect voice to fit bff Sloane who was a very entertaining part of the cast too.

Worth a credit? Absolutely.. I think JTG ticked all my boxes with Kage 😛🪭🤭🤫😉.. however, I REALLY don’t want to buy a book TWICE Audible!!

Finally a main character with personality!

I absolutely love JTGeissenger style. And so far just finished book 2 .. Sloan has an awesome personality! ( Sloan also means elephant in Russian)
And let me say the narrators need an Oscar! Absolutley love these two! Voices can ruin or make the book that much better… Ms Sparks and Mr Duran are superb! The depth and raspiness of Mr Duran.. ❤️superb!
