Publisher's summary

A hockey romance performed by a full cast including Samantha Brentmoor, Teddy Hamilton, Jason Clarke and Connor Crais!

I swear I only asked one hot hockey-playing friend to give me romance lessons for the week, but three hockey stars volunteered.

The post breakup plan was simple escape from my toxic ex to a vacation rental and stay far away from men.

But thanks to a booking snafu I'm accidentally sharing it with three hot hockey players. One's flirty, one's broody, one's a cheeky Brit, and they're all the most attentive men I've ever met.

After a couple of glasses of champagne, I'm telling them about the contest my ex is running on his dating advice web site. The topic? What makes a great boyfriend, and I want to submit a column.

All three offer to show me every single thing I've been missing in and out of bed.

We make a deal for one week only. It's only for revenge, of course. I work for the other hockey team in the city so it'd be a big mistake to truly get involved with a rival, let alone three.

Even though I melt under their touch. They show me what it means to be adored, cherished and romanced.

But as the week ticks on, what started as revenge fast turns into me giving my heart to three men I can't have. Looks like I'm well and truly pucked.

Fantastic Full Cast!

This was fun, steamy, cute, and swoony! I really liked Briar a lot. I absolutely loved seeing her go from her crummy ex to three hockey players who treat her exactly how she deserves to be! The guys just seem to make her more her if that makes sense. It's like she is opened up more to what happy looks like with a good guy(s). I clearly enjoyed Rhys, Hollis, and Gavin. I feel like each guy was uniquely them, sometimes I struggle with that in a why choose. This was such a good read and a great balance of all the spice and yet being cutesy, too!

Hockey Players!!!!

Lauren Blakely has once again written another great book featuring hockey players. She has a knack for creating great characters with incredible chemistry. The narrators she has perform her books are exceptional! I love them all. This book definitely has the steam factor, yet sweet moments. Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke, Connor Crais and Teddy Hamilton all were perfect in this book. I could envision so many details.

Why Choose?

I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this book so I got to read and listen to it in one day each. What a way to end a series! I loved these boys. I appreciated how Lauren decided to change it up for the last book and add a third guy. It made it stand out. One of the things I loved about this book was how different it is from other Why Choose books. What Lauren does best is flesh out a character. All four of them had serious baggage that they had to overcome in their lives. We got to know them all on a deeper level. It wasn’t just all about the spice. (Not that there wasn’t plenty of that!) Another highlight for me was the list that Briar reads at the end about what makes a great boyfriend. All those things are things we all could be doing in our own relationships.
As for the audio, Samantha brought it all home for me. She was along for the ride from day one and finished strong. As for the boys, you all know I love this trio. Gavin, was of course my favorite, (cough Connor cough). The way they took care of Briar and treated her was magic. After this series I have only one question, Lauren, where are my hockey players?

Loved the duet!

I love when an audiobook is done in duet and this was some of my favorite audio book readers on the same book! Definitely will listen to this one again! I loved the bloopers at the end, I’ve never heard that on an audiobook before.

Loved it

I just want to say that this duet narration is my favorite especially hearing Connor, Teddy and Jason speak more than a few chapters like in other books. This just made it better, listening in on each of their personalities. I gotta say I did not know Jason could do the British accent. I enjoyed it and the slight different voice he gave Steven, first time he does not sound so deep, although I enjoy his grumbling voice. As always, Connor never disappoints. His velvety, deep, silky smooth voice just entrances me every time I hear him. Teddy, I just cannot get enough of that voice, he oozes personality and brings every word to life. Now Samantha, it’s the first time I listen to her narration and can’t say that it was bad. I enjoyed how they all interact together. This review is subject to change because I am not done with this book.

What happens when you don't have to choose?

Briar has been wronged by her boyfriend - not only has he stolen her idea for a contest, he's trying to keep her cat. She's trying to break into their apartment to get her cat when Rhys, Gavin and Hollis come along and decide to help her. She knows them from being a yoga instructor with their hockey team. Briar decides to rent a cottage during a festival so she'll have a place to live but it was mistakenly rented out already to --- Rhys, Gavin and Hollis. They decide that they can share the cottage for a week. The guys decide to help Briar find her true self by showing her how true boyfriends should take care of their girl. They all decide to have this arrangement for the week that they are at the cottage but to stay friends afterward. When they get back to real life after the week is over, they have all separately decided that they love each other. How will that revelation set with the others? I like the multicast narration of Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke, Connor Crais and Teddy Hamilton.

Loved this multicast duet narration!

Yes, Briar..You go, lady! Well and Truly Pucked by Lauren Blakely was a fun, flirty, and spicy why-choose hockey romance that bent my heart in all the right places. Each throuple in Lauren’s My Hockey Romance series has been so much fun, and I’m glad she added a third hunky hero for Briar’s story for the ultimate HEA with her fine fellas.

Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke, Connor Crais, and Teddy Hamilton perform this audiobook in duet-style narration, and this quartet was amusing, steamy magic together. Samantha’s light, flirty tone matched Briar’s passionate persona as she moved on from her past and worked hard for future goals. At the same time, she added some sensual undertones to her performance when voicing Briar’s newfound delectable desires. Teddy’s warm, laid-back tone added a loveable flair to charismatic, dirty-talking Hollis, and Jason’s deep charming British accent showcased Rhys’ dedication and commitment to please Briar. (swoon) I was completely taken aback by Connor’s low rumbling tone for Gavin. When he gave into temptation and his voice turned dominant and possessive, I was here for it. (Hello, sir!) All four narrators created an undeniable longing and steamy chemistry right from the start.

Overall, I LOVED this book. If you are a fan of a why-choose hockey romance with a badass yoga instructor, three hockey hotties who love to share, a feisty silver tabby, an adorable dachshund, hot tub mishaps, getaways to Lucky Falls, close proximity, characteristics of a great boyfriend, funding your fitness app, tag team kissing, special gifts, face masks, hot air balloon dates, all the group steamy times, and a HEA that is meant to truly be, then you will love Briar, Hollis, Rhys, and Gavin’s romance. I always look forward to more from Lauren Blakely.
