Wonderful story!

This was a very entertaining story that was incredibly well read. I hated for it to end.

Sweet Story with a Gentle Pace

This is a story that's filled with heart, like many of the author's books. Parts of the story seemed a bit drawn out, but once the crux of the story became clear, the writing was excellent the characters remained interesting. Enjoyed listening to the Audible version while driving across two states, one of which was California. The book was a worthy travel companion.

this book has many curves. tears, laughs, and love. I recommend this book for teens and adults.

Excellent Story

A well woven tale of two excellent characters. This story was one of those that I couldn't stop listening to until it was done. In the beginning I couldn't figure out how the two characters paths would cross and how they would ever get along. You couldn't help but feel for both characters and the state of their lives.

At first I wasn’t so sure...then I couldn’t put it down

This is one of those stories that makes you realize how fragile we all are, how much we take for granted ...having a roof over our heads, food, a bed. This old woman in the story loses everything and is forced to live in her van.. not trusting the world, understandably so. Then this young girl is tragically thrown into the world alone .. and you also see how easy it is for bad things to happen to young people. Except these two very very different characters meet at this turn of events- and then the road they travel just gets better and better ...and you will fall in love with both of them. You feel every human emotion during this story, and leave this book smiling- the ending leaves you rinsed with cool good feelings and gratitude for good friendships ❤️ I hope they make this into a movie!

Enjoyed

I enjoyed this book totally. It’s worth the credit but I bought it on sale, which makes it even nicer. The only part that got on my nerves some was the narrator. I felt like I wanted to drag the world out of her mouth. Lol

Loved it!

This was a great read from an author I've never heard of. I look forward to reading (listening, actually) to other titles she has written. It was a beautiful story.
