Doesn’t disappoint

As an avid listener to all Zombie Apocalypse novels, this series holds a special place in my heart. My son was named after the man behind the Zombie rules. If you’re reading this, and haven’t read or listened to the previous books. You’re in for a treat when you start this series.

This book in particular was classic Achord. If you’re familiar with his writing, he has a way of progressing the characters that is immersive and overall enjoyable. To see my fav characters this far after the fall of man is extraordinary cool. I almost feel like They’re real people. Can’t forget to mention Halstead. He really captures the emotions displayed. This is more of a review of the series than anything, it’s important to note that the series has truly evolved into a classic. From a young man who had lost his grandma to being the ear of the president.
This book truly had nothing I could complain about. Well done.

Series never disappoints

Characters always interesting as is the storyline.

I love David Achord and perfect narration by Graham Halstead. They make a great. Tam.

As always I binged on audiobook and so sad it’s finished for now. I’ve gone through every book in the series at least twice. Who know maybe there will be a 3rd time, maybe?

Wow.

I will miss this series. I might try for the last book, that is if Zach story continues there. I realized all the different points if storyline in the book is a set up for different stories. I stayed tune for the Zach family.

This series educated me on so many things i never cared about or thought of, presently. This last book explained the immune system in the simplest way, better than my grade school education.

Also. The realism of the character development. The duality of humans and our actions are very well articulated in this series, one moment we are loving and logical the next we can be harsh hateful and forced to be a person who takes life. Very well done in the earlier books.

best of the series imo anyways. totally called the ending (some what). but I'm not complaining. great series

Good but losing steam.

So far, this is my least favorite in the series. Character development is almost at a halt; introducing new characters isn’t as exciting. I don’t find myself connecting to the new characters or story development, which is a surprise for this series. It’s still good, but I can tell the author is running out of fresh ideas, which makes sense. I’m still excited to finish the series' last book to see how it wraps things up. Overall, I highly recommend the entire series.

Fantastic listen

I have really enjoyed this series and can’t wait for the next book. It is not your typical post apocalypse book in that they do not come across huge stockpiles of needed items and had to be self sufficient and crafty. The ending of this book surprised but pleased me.

Good story but lacks the suspense and action

This story is about the aftermath of the Zombie apocalypse and how to rebuild the future. It was interesting, but not riveting. It was more of a discussion than an intense action story. Good to finish the series on, but not a good place to drag people back for more.
